Allan C. Wright Memorial Transportation Award
Criteria for Automotive Vehicle & Heavy Mechanical Trade Students
The CAFS’ Allan C. Wright Memorial Transportation Award recognizes outstanding applicants entering programs at a BC Post-Secondary Institution. The award is awarded on a competitive basis. Adjudication considerations may include your approach to safety, involvement in the industry and community as well as academic and non-academic accomplishments related to your education or personal life.
Criteria
- Applicants must be a permanent resident of British Columbia.
- One complete CAFS Transportation Award application and resume is required for each applicant.
- Applicant must be a registered Foundation student as of May 15 of the year the award is given.
- Applicants must be registered in a provincially approved Foundation program in one of these trades: Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, Truck & Transport Mechanic, Diesel Engine Mechanic, Transport Trailer Technician, or Automotive Service Technician.
- Applicants must provide a description of the program they will be attending.
Award Presentation
The awards are presented annually at CAFS’s June Coquitlam General Meeting. The next award presentations will be June 2020.
