CAFS's Million Mile Club™ is an exclusive group of transportation professionals that exemplify road safety excellence. Each year CAFS holds a special Awards Night to honor those elite drivers who have driven one million miles, or twenty years, of steady, (preventable) accident free driving.
Inductees are presented with membership in our exclusive Million Mile Club™, given a commemorative plaque and lapel pin, as well as a gift from our sponsoring company.
Presentations are made at the Coquitlam General Meeting each year. Next
date to be September 2006.
What is One Million Miles?
It is the same as traveling around the earth's equator four times.
It is the same as traveling to the moon 2.6 times.
How long have you been driving?
The average Canadian drives 9,320 miles a year, between the daily commute
and vacation travel. To drive 1,000,000 miles the average Canadian would
need to drive from the age of 16 to 123 years. Not too many Canadians will
ever drive one million miles, let alone, accident free!
The Canadian Association of Fleet Supervisors proudly salutes all inductee's
accomplishments.
